Blessed among Kansans!

The month of March brought us many friends from Kansas!

First we were blessed with the presence of our friend Sarah Davis along with two of the Apostles of the Interior Life, Sr. Debbie and Sr. Michela, on St. Patrick's Day! 

Before coming to see us in Philly, they had spent many of the days prior serving a parish mission in NY! Though probably tired, they joyfully accepted Lauren's invitation to have them speak at her school, Regina Angelorum Academy. The children enjoyed their story-time with the sisters! 

Then that evening we celebrated St. Patty's Day with a dinner with the Conrads and some of our friends from Philadelphia. We are hoping to start a branch of the Collaborators here! Though we have not officially began, we hope to get it going in the near future!

Thank you so much for coming to see us Sr. Michela and Sr. Debbie! We were overjoyed to have you!

The sisters were with us for only an evening, but Sarah was able to stay through the weekend. Then the same weekend our friend Jessica came to Philly too! Sarah, Jessica, and I enjoyed the weekend. Then Sarah departed, and Jessica spent her spring break for the week with us! She ventured the city on her own, and then we had many trips and evenings together! We especially enjoyed our time at the National St. Rita shrine (one of our favorite saints) and time in the Italian market!
