We love to play Scrabble...and now Sequence too...We find it healthy to get a competitive edge!
We like to explore the surrounding area! One of our first adventures led us to a park close to our house...It was less than impressive, but we did enjoy some time on the see-saw... later we found a great park for basketball, and now we have found some great state parks, just miles from home, but some are in other states!
Unfortunately we don't have pictures to prove it, but we have enjoyed coffee dates and multiple dinners with the Conrads! Here I am with their daughter Katherine!
So here in the east, Italian Ice, soft pretzels, and Dunkin Donuts are a big deal! What more could you ask for than Ice next to Donuts! :) We have indulged in each only once!
These were delicious mini cakes brought to us from Nathan's team members for a meal one night at our place! We have enjoyed having his team and other missionaries over to our place for meals to share!
Did I mention we like to play Scrabble? And communicate through it?
One day I came home and Nathan had left me a message!
Can you tell that we always have the competitive edge because I responded? :)
I wonder who scored more points on the board!!!
If you should ever have the chance to come visit us, we will have to take you to Peddler's Village, just an hour or so north of us! There we met some relatives, Amy and John, and they surprised us with inviting my cousin Andy! This place is quite quaint and houses several small specialty shops, bakeries, wineries, and restaurants! Here's just one picture of the Village.
We have lovely neighbors! Their daughter brought us over some homemade Sushi!
and may the mini moments continue...
